Christmas with the Franks

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good dog! Frank is ready for another appearance with Alpha 2.0. You can download Frank from Earth here. Below you can see exactly what we've been working on!

Intro Movie

We've developed a delightful story and are now getting it onto the canvas! The opening scene illustrations are complete and now in the process of being animated.

Accessories

There are several new accessory models and textures. The barrel above wasn't originally intonated to be an accessory but it was a hit at Phoenix Fan Fest and looks like it will stay on Franks head for now.

Sword

We also have been working on some new weapons! This physics based sword causes damage based on velocity. We think there is some serious potential and are super excited to build on this more.

Shield

The shield was a natural addition added after the sword. It is great for drawing fire away from your team while they deal out the hits.

Armor

Enemies now can spawn with cardboard and metal armor. Cardboard has lower health but blocks all hitboxes while metal is broken into 3 pieces all with different health and protecting different hit boxes.

User Interface

Lastly, we've added more work to the feel of the interface with buttons and embossed labels. We think we're getting closer to an early office styled look.

Thanks for stopping by to see what we're up to. If you didn't already, download Frank from Earth and give it a try on your home PC. If you are looking for the mobile build we're still not quite there yet. We plan to have mobile up to par by the time we take Frank to Steam. Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Thanks sib! I wish we spent more time sharing what we're doing. My resolution is to start doing some in depth videos about the game.
